CRANIAL DENTAL THYROID SCANS
A comfortable, radiation-free way to record the heat patterns across the face, jaw, sinuses, mouth and thyroid region. Image collection is non-contact, takes only a few minutes, and needs nothing more from you than following the short preparation instructions we send ahead of time.
Many clients bring their images to a dentist or health care provider as one more piece of physiological information to consider alongside an examination.
What This Imaging Shows
- Temperature patterns across the thyroid region, sinuses, jaw and both sides of the face.
- How closely the left and right sides match one another.
- A standardized record you can compare against a future appointment.
Temperature variation can have many causes and is not specific to any one condition. Thermography does not diagnose or rule out dental infection, sinus disease, thyroid disease, temporomandibular disorders, cancer or anything else, and it does not replace a dental examination, laboratory testing, ultrasound or radiography.
